About Heys Dental
Heys Dental has been providing dental services to the Ann Arbor and greater Washtenaw County community since 1972. We have been located at at 1201 E. Stadium Blvd. since 1980.
Our Philosophy
We are a patient-oriented practice specializing in general dentistry. Our services provided range from routine dental cleanings and restorative treatment to a variety of cosmetic procedures for patients of all ages.
Whether you are a new patient or existing patient coming in for routine services, or experiencing pain and having a dental emergency, our practice is equipped to treat your specific needs in a timely manner.
Ronald J. Heys, D.D.S., M.S.
Ron graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1972 and received a Masters degrees in Restorative Dentistry in 1975. He is a tenured associate professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, teaching part time, and is Associate Chair of Cariology, Restorative Sciences & Endodontics.
Donald R. Heys, D.D.S., M.S.
Don graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1972 and also received a Masters degrees in Restorative Dentistry in 1975. He is a tenured full professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, teaching part time, and is the Director of the Comprehensive Care Program for the Dental School.
John W. Heys, D.D.S.
John graduated from the The University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2000. In the year following his graduation, John participated in a General Practice residency in Jacksonville, FL. He joined Heys Dental in 2001 and is now an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.
David B. Heys, D.D.S.
David graduated from the the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2007 and completed the Advanced Program in General Dentistry at Michigan in 2008. David joined Heys Dental in 2008.
Our Staff
Our knowledgeable and friendly front desk personnel are experienced in managing any patient concerns or emergencies. They have expertise in all dental insurance plans and will answer all of your billing questions or concerns.
Our hygiene staff are experienced with years in practice. They provide a wide range of services, including dental prophylaxis, patient home care instructions, digital radiography and placement of sealants.
Our Custom Quilts
We are so honored and proud to feature custom quilts lovingly created by Sue Holdaway-Heys, Dr. Ron’s wife. These quilts give a calm and welcome feel throughout our practice and we are so grateful for the time and care she has put into each and every one.
